Tone It Down

I’ve expressed my disappointment with the Republicans today.  Well, mostly you, the reality television show viewer, for demanding more of this trainwreck.

Let’s go to the other side.  Because they are embarrassing too.

I saw a picture of people standing in front of a hall holding signs today.  Hillary Clinton didn’t have time for them because she was on her way to a $2,700 a ticket fundraiser.

I read a story about how George and Amal Clooney have ponied up $353,400 to dine with Hillary Clinton in a couple of weeks.  Tax day to be specific.  I’m not sure how many years I’d have to count back for my wages to add up to that amount of money.

The next day will be a $33,400 per ticket fundraiser that the Clooneys and Clinton have put together.

I realize that all of this is legal now that money is the official form of speech of the Unites States of America.  I understand this.  Why my only form of speech is a free blog on WordPress.  Hope those ads down there aren’t too annoying.

I understand that the entire thing will never be changed as long as rich people get together to determine how poor people like me will be taken care of.

Bill Clinton didn’t give a fuck about me and neither will Hillary.

In fact, the only thing it seems Hillary gained from her time as First Lady was the ability to make a whole lot of money for doing very little but speak to Wall Street.

Hillary Clinton is making a mockery of the electoral process.  She is trying to buy the election.  People don’t fork over money for little in return but maybe a chance to help the first woman be president.  There’s a real return on this investment.

And probably favors as the super delegates are a true mockery of the system.  There are 118 (17 of those are super) delegates in my state, which went handily to Bernie Sanders.  Here’s what’s happening.  Because of the system, Clinton is likely not to feel the huge loss because of the super delegate system which has been put in place.

So much for the idea of representatives.

Why did I even caucus?

I thought it would be fun.  Take my kids to caucus for the first time.  Show them how democracy works.  Oh, the questions since are giving them the real lesson.

Those in charge don’t really want voters.  They want apathy so that the people in charge stay in charge.  Democracy doesn’t exist.

We are run by Mickey Mouse’s dog.

Clinton has changed gears toward the general election.  Fundraisers like these are to take on Trump or Cruz and not Sanders.

And then the Clinton campaign joined Republican front runner Donald Trump in deciding they are done debating.  They are done letting the world see their opponents’ strengths.  They have decided that they will only talk in controlled situations from here on out.

Her campaign told Sanders that they didn’t like the negative campaign he is running.  That he needed to tone it down.

Tone it down.

Reading now that Sanders has been left off the Washington DC ballot.  Nice.

That’s fucking democracy.

Forget it.

The whole system is designed to make all of us more apathetic.

I mean, you can vote, but you may have to stand in line for five hours.

You can vote, but this is a delegate system and we’ve already got a group of delegates we trust.

The only argument people use anymore is, “if you don’t vote for Clinton then Trump wins.”  Lesser of two evils on steroids.  I don’t even care anymore.

I am extremely liberal.  Not liberal like it’s okay to export jobs liberal.  Not like Bill Clinton.

Not liberal like let’s keep perpetuating the war on drugs so we can incarcerate more minorities with a crime bill liberal.  Not like Bill Clinton liberal.

I’m not the kind of liberal who believes it’s okay to continue getting rich on the backs of the poor.

The more this election cycle continues, the more I realize that I will never see real change in my life.  Other than more laws which benefit the wealthy.

The Democratic Party has pretty much lost me as a voter.

My children are able to vote for the first time this year.

What an introduction.

What a joke.

What Is Wrong With You?

I don’t like talking about him.  I think that’s all he really wants.

It’s as if he is so starved for attention that he tries to drum it up from any direction.  Why else would he color his skin that shade of orange and give himself a gold dome of hair?

It’s as if he really asks him self each morning, what can I say to sound like a total ass hole?  How many people can I alienate and still win?

The difference, in my opinion, between Trump and Cruz is that Trump seemingly doesn’t know what he’s doing.  He’s the guy who only laughed at his jokes as a child as soon as everybody else started laughing.  He plays the crowd.  And the shit starts to flow.  Cruz seems to know right from wrong and chooses wrong consistently.

If Trump was not running this year, Cruz would have been eliminated long ago.  Cruz sells a message of hate toward everything he doesn’t understand.  Trump sells an isolationist message combined with Charlie Sheen’s drug and prostitution habit (winning).

But this isn’t about Cruz.  He only appears to be redeemable because he is running against a full on coward and clown.

This isn’t about Trump.  Well, kind of.

I’m not sure who this is about, but I’m pretty sure it’s about  society.  What is wrong with us?

In only seven days.  Forget the rest of this season.  Seven goddamn days.

Trump started by getting really upset that a PAC (although he accuses Cruz) created an add showing Melania nude and asked if Utah wanted her to be the First Lady.  Trump’s anger is so ridiculous because any of us could have seen this picture before.  We probably did.

It’s public.

She got paid to pose in GQ.

Anybody can see it.

He would have a right to be upset had that picture been lifted somewhere.  If it were private.  If it were taken in the way Erin Andrews’ pictures were.  That would have been reason, but the guy married a woman who made a living getting her picture taken in no to barely any clothes.  He seems to be very proud of this fact.

I know this because he responded as any child would with a “my wife is hotter than your wife” response to Cruz.

Followed by a “he started it” defense.

My dad didn’t accept that answer when I was seven.  And my brother always started it.

But what we all really want to get from these people is a little policy.  I think.  I mean, outside of getting rid of all immigrants who are not super models from Europe and carpet bombing the enemy with no home.

Trump said last night that we will have the biggest, greatest military anybody has ever seen followed by we are not the world’s police and sprinkle in all the tax cuts .  Contradictions because he really doesn’t know anything.

All of this leads to today.  Yes, today.

And you’ll find that when you become very successful, the people that you will like best are the people that are less successful than you, because when you go to a table you can tell them all of these wonderful stories, and they’ll sit back and listen.  Does that make sense to you? OK? Always be around unsuccessful people because everybody will respect you. Do you understand that?

With that one statement to a bunch of people in Wisconsin today, he revealed his entire strategy.  Brag about your success and tell them stories.  Even if they are lies.  Convince people you are successful and they will buy anything you are selling.

Think about his supporters.  They often support Trump with the line, he’s a really successful businessman.  He’s not.  He’s successful, but he’s only been successful in the sense that he is wealthy.  Some people define success this way.

Moving on.  Later that day…

There has to be some sort of punishment for women who have abortions.

Trump said that.  Cruz knows better than to say something like this, but I bet he agrees.  He has to.  It’s who he is.  The truth is that this statement is contingent upon the government making abortion illegal.

Red trucker hats are being pressed as we speak.  I’m guessing.

Make abortion illegal again.

So in one week, he admitted that he cons people, that women are merely objects, and that women deserve some sort of punishment if the government can make abortion illegal.

So my question to all of you is simple.

What is wrong with you?

What is it?

What, as a society, has allowed you to buy into all this shit?  What makes you think there is anything but bluster from the biggest jack ass of a used car salesman?  And don’t pretend that you like used car salesmen.

Why does America really believe that turning to isolationism and regressing women’s rights is okay?

Why are we accepting of the childish behavior and demeanor?

I can’t blame the media.  Not completely.  It’s the American way, right?  Supply and demand?  There was the demand and thirst for hate speech and the media delivered it daily.  They broke into every show.

They are going to continue to show this until you turn the television completely OFF.

Turn it off.

I read a tweet from Joy Reid yesterday.  The question posed was why Jill Stein gets absolutely no media coverage.  Why she doesn’t get a town hall or a debate?  Not even a blurb.  And Reid answered in a way that explained why corporations kept Sanders off the air a few weeks ago.

Reid said that nobody is entitled to media coverage.

No more truer words were said.  Because she explained media coverage like Republicans explain unemployment insurance or good schools.

Just because all the money starts with you, the tax payer or news viewer, does not mean you need to get anything good out of it.  You’ll get exactly what the media thinks you deserve.

That’s what it all boils down to.

You can have potholes and poor schools.  You can have a media which tells you what is right for you.  The only person who does not get to know what is right for you is you while help is constantly given to those that don’t need any.

Trickle down media.

That is until you demand more.

And if you refuse to demand more, look yourself in the mirror and ask that question.

What is wrong with you?

The Need to Argue?

I’ll get this out of the way first off.

I have no desire to argue with anybody.  At anytime.  About most things.

I shut down.

Once upon a time I would argue sports, religion, or politics.  I’m not sure what happened, but at some point I realized that it was a waste of time.  There is no value.  I will not convince another person and nobody else will convince me.

There will not be an occasion in the near future when somebody could convince me that Donald Trump would make a good president of anything.  No discussion or series of discussions is going to make me change my mind about most of the fundamental philosophies I have.

Nobody will ever get me to like a Boston team.

I don’t participate in the Twitter Hatefest that I see on a daily basis.  I read it for information.  I read it because I find it interesting.  I deal with it because I like finding like minded people.

I can’t imagine acting like one of those closed minded people who paint in broad strokes simply because they are hiding behind their side of the internet.

I have, realistically, had some very good discussions with people I do not agree with.  As long as the discussions are honest and not inflammatory, I will not back down.  I find it refreshing when two people who do not agree can have a reasonable discussion.  We get to have some real honest dialogue and try to see where “the other side” is coming from.

I have family in this world from other states.  Some I stay in contact with very well.  Most of my family I don’t.  My brother is good at keeping up with everybody else.

Somewhere along the road my uncle started texting me about politics.  I’m a middle aged man now.  I wasn’t invited into most conversations as a child.  As time passed, that part of the family became more distant.  Deaths and age and all that.  They happen.

This uncle recommended Johnny Got His Gun during one of our rare visits 15 years ago.  I have respect for him and have always thought him thoughtful.  So certain texts from him have really caught me off guard.

My big question is where did Obama come from?  Not where he was born.  Who bought him?….He divided this country racially and politically.

That was the first text that made me take a step back.  It came a couple weeks ago.  I’m not sure why that is his big question.  I’ve argued that all politicians are purchased for favors.  This is blatantly true.   But I do not see how any rational person could think Obama divided this country- especially racially- outside of the fact that Obama merely exists.

Obama brought out the racism that has existed from the beginning in this country simply by winning.

I had an aunt from another side of my family who said back in 2008 that she wouldn’t vote for Obama because she “just can’t vote for a black man.”  I judged her that day.

I ignored my uncle’s text hoping he had consumed six too many beers that night and it would go away.  Then the following text hit my phone last night.

Do you think our current president has caused any racial tension in our country?  I do.  I see more now than in past years.

He really wanted to discuss this.  I didn’t.  Anybody who believes Obama created racism is not a person I want to argue with.  There’s no end.

I told him what I thought and he told me a story of somebody using the race card where his daughter works when he was disciplined.

I’ve been in management for many years.  I’ve disciplined people only for them to accuse me of racism.  It’s easy.  It happened to me before Obama was elected.  The conversation goes like this, “how is you being disciplined for violating a safety rule that you’ve been warned about racially motivated?”

The conversation usually moves into the person asking who else has been disciplined for similar actions to which I reply, I don’t discuss discipline with others.

I don’t know, but I feel as if my cousin might be gossiping.

There are more different races in our country.  Believe it or not.  Bigoted?  Or just blacks?

This is where I started to shut down and get offended.  As if my uncle, who lives in the whitest state in America, thinks that I don’t understand the concept of race.  That he feels he needs to educate me on the concept.

As I said, I am middle aged.  There are many groups in this world who are discriminated against.

As the conversation kept moving, I tried to change to policy.  I tried to move away from the gossip and hate speech.  So the conversation moved to taxing people.  It moved to Bernie Sanders and how nice his message is but the only way he can accomplish it is by taxing people to death.  He said, “Ask Lenin how that works out.”

I don’t do condescending well.  I didn’t appreciate the “let me explain some history to you, son” approach.

Firmly, I believe that corporations receive too much welfare.  That we have a poor system for taking care of the poor.  That people need their tax money reallocated to build schools and highways.  Trickle down has failed us.

Corporate welfare.  Good catch all.  Been used forever.  Got a new one?

With this I was done.  I don’t care if something has been used forever if it has not been addressed nor changed.

I only engaged in this discussion as long as I did because it was family.  Because it was somebody I knew.  Somebody I had respected.  Not an egg on twitter.  This was a person I have engaged in real life and expected the discussion to be more engaging.

I understand that he may have simply been playing devil’s advocate, but if that’s the only game being played, it really feels like he was pushing my buttons. Can’t play devil’s advocate on every side.

I’m writing this on a few levels.

One, I needed to.  Makes me feel better.

Two,   problems are easy to point out.  The right should rename their party the Obstructionist Party.  I’m not saying the Democrats are better.  There is so much to fix and today’s technology has done nothing but expose what was once hidden.  Solutions are what is tricky and solutions should be the focus.

Three, I’m trying to understand why our culture is the way it is.  Why do we get off on arguing so much.  Why can’t we ever concede that somebody else may be right.  Even if it’s from a different view.

My uncle and I will be fine.  We both will move on and, hopefully, proceed with more caution.

It’s the rest of the world I’m worried about.  We’ve painted ourselves into some pretty dark corners as a society.  Anybody who blame Obama is kidding themselves.  These divisions go back way further than that.

The real failure is in our leadership to adapt to the needs of humans.  Instead, the leadership redefined the concept of person to fit what they were doing.

You can tell me I’m wrong.  I don’t care.  Just don’t expect to get an argument started.

I don’t need them.

Droppin’ A Cruz

I really want this to catch on.

No reason it can’t.  Outside of the fact that I’m really not anybody.  I lack the power to have things get popular.  That’s a skill and I’m not sure how to attain it.

But if there were ever something that should catch on, it’s this.

We got a puppy.  Here he is.  So fucking cute.

robbie01Pictures don’t really do him justice.

But I can tell you he is damn cute.

We brought him home five or so weeks ago.  Maybe almost six.  I lose track.  The first thing this little guy does is drop an eyedropper of urine onto the carpet.

A little later he pushes a movement out.  I said, “Oh man, he just dropped a Cruz.”

Like that.  I announced that day that the stool my little puppy pushed out are basically just a Cruz.

Because Ted Cruz is a piece of shit.

I wake in the morning and get some caffeine.  Maybe I make some breakfast.  Then I announce I have to go drop a Cruz.

Don’t worry.  This would never offend Ted Cruz.  He’s just looking for a little attention.  Any meme is good for him.  It means that somebody thought about that little fucking piece of shit.

I’ll step back.  I do think Ted Cruz is awful.  All of his rhetoric.  The way he hates with love.  That tone he takes.  That five second pause before pushing out just a little more excrement.  Don’t tell me you didn’t notice.  That pause.  The ridiculous fucking pause.

Go back to The Cat in the Hat you obstructionist ass hole.

Why I call it “droppin’ a Cruz.”  Let’s face it.  He’s not likable.  He actually probably stinks.  His ideas are pure horseshit.

Cruz thinks it’s okay to deport immigrants even though his father was a fucking immigrant.

He thinks that separation of church and state is not real.  Like his god I’m guessing.

This fucker is a turd quesadilla wrapped in bacon.

Bacon doesn’t actually make everything better.

You’ll figure it out.

My dog feels as if droppin’ a Cruz is so outside the mainstream now, that he has to run off into the corner where nobody can see him to do it.  Makes me sad.

Here’s the point.

Next time you need to have a bowel movement, let’s get this trend started.  Tell the world you just dropped a Cruz.  If we get enough momentum, the world will know what you mean.

If you are at work and you need to go use the restroom, tell those around you, “I’ll be right back.  Gotta drop a Cruz.”

If a part of the house stinks, just tell the people around, “Sorry, had to drop a Cruz.”

This will all make sense, and is certainly easier than saying deuce.  What the hell is that?

Well, until Cruz drops off into obscurity.

Let’s face it, he’s so unpopular that he’s losing to a fascist ass hole.  Do you realize how much of a bad person you have to be to be losing to a fascist?

You have to smell of the worst shit possible.

Here’s my meme for it.

Please, love my dog.

Only One Chance

I want to write a book.  I have the storyline working through my brain.

I’m atheist.

Those who are religious believe they are living this life for a higher purpose.  Western religions believe in an afterlife.  Many Eastern religions believe that you get another crack at all this, so be the best you can be to strengthen your next life.

All excuses to keep people in line and to justify why some people get to live a better life than others.  I do really believe this.  Religions are put in place to justify why some people have better lives.  And to explain what people do not understand.

For years this meant why the sun was up sometimes and not others or to explain why everything fell to the ground.  Science is amazing.  If you accept it.

But this isn’t about my atheism.  This is about my philosophy on life.

This is about the people who run the world.  Run our country.  Run the system.  I have never been more disappointed in the entire process as I am right now.  Watching all this go on.  I need a job.  I get dressed up every week in order to convince somebody that I’m the right fit for their company.

Other job interviews don’t seem to be the same.

Trump yells and incites violence.

Clinton changes her goals and platform.

Cruz is just plain wrong.  On many levels.  It’s not like he’s dumb, but he acts as if he’s going to force people to like him.  It’s his one goal.  That and to shove the Bible down our throats.

If Cruz were to get the Republican nomination, he may as well quote Sally Field and be on his way.  But he’s not capable of that and nobody really likes him.

This thing is about how we get one shot in this world.  One shot only.

And if somebody decides that you are not worthy of having a legitimate shot, then you get dismissed.  In a very real way.

Look at what happened in Flint, MI.  Snyder decided these people did not deserve a decent existence.  He decided that they deserved lead.  He may get away with it.  Waiting to see.

Trump is willing to marginalize entire ethnicities.

Clinton has been taking advantage of people for far too long.

I can’t think of too many people who were put into a position of power and did not use that position in order to increase their lives over others.  That’s being human.  That’s having a giant brain.  That’s the problem.

I had a friend who argued what we need is a benevolent dictator.  Somebody who will come in and force people to do the right thing.  Because this isn’t working.  It never will.  Not as long as the wealthy are simply using the government in order to find more ways to become wealthier.

The flaw in his plan is determining what is benevolent.

Impossible as long as the motto of our nation is to think of ways to separate others from their money.

I think about those who had their one shot during the Great Depression.  What a horrible time to be born.

I think about the result of that economic collapse- Hitler.  He advertised hope to a starving, struggling nation.  Nationalism.  Isolationism.  Breeding hate.

But that’s the only reason people go into a position of power.

What has been proven to me is that democracy is a figment of our imagination.  That people have little compassion.  That stopping good things from happening is easier than allowing good.

Think of all the wars that have been fought.  We fight for no good reason and sacrifice all those lives in order to gain power.  Selling patriotism.  Selling hate.  Selling absolutely nothing good.

And then we sell some god’s will.  What was meant to be.

I am amazed at how easily people will dismiss the happiness of generations in exchange for a little extra in the bank.  A little easier life.

I think of all the countries in which people are born only to sacrifice themselves.  It will happen, and it’s likely better than the life they can lead otherwise.  They are sold purpose.

I think of those who were born to a sadistic father.

We each only get one shot.

This one shot should be fairly handed out.  It should be considered.

We don’t always get a good hand, but those who are not in a position of power seem to have the cards stacked against them.

Cut the Cord

I’m not sure how to start this little thing.

First, I’ll say how disappointed I am in the results of the Ides of March primaries.  Both sides.  Are you fucking serious?  Trump and Clinton?  How predictable.

Both Trump and Sanders are arguing that their campaigns are movements.  Trump’s campaign being the bowel movement of America.  I’m not trying to be funny.

I read my twitter account and see all the people that say liberals need to go ahead and fall behind Clinton.  If we don’t, we are allowing a Trump presidency.  Know how hard it is to create a tyranny in this country?  The congressional elite have tried to create tyranny over the last 7 years after feeding little Bush all his lines for eight years.  Let’s face it, they have done very little except be intrusive and obstructionist.

Do I think more or less will get done regardless if it’s Trump or Clinton?  The country voted, quite honestly, for more of the same.  Don’t tell them.  They think they voted for a revolution.

But they really voted for the 1%.  They voted for the wealthy controlling what the poor gets.  Clinton has adopted Sanders’ message, but we all know she will move to the center as soon as all has been settled.  Trump will blatantly move to the center.  He will be unabashed in his change in policy.  Clinton will try to be more clever.  I don’t honestly believe there is much difference in what they can accomplish.  It’s all in the rhetoric.

These two are two of the most hated people in politics.  If Cruz were to win the GOP nomination, then it would be the two most hated people in politics.  Within reason.

So I find that I’m in a situation similar to Trump’s foreign advisor.  He said this morning on one of his many promotional morning shows the following.

I’m speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain, and I’ve said a lot of things.

Yes you have.  And a lot of people are very stupid regarding a lot of things and, let’s be real, you don’t know shit, do you?  Can you be honest?

Can Hillary Clinton be honest?

So I will speak to myself.  Because I’ve said a lot of things.  I really have.  And my brain is not gone yet.  Not quite.  Sometimes I think life would be easier.

So I reach out to myself 20 years ago.  I was younger and I was more idealistic and I was disappointed in the system.

I was disappointed in Bill Clinton.
I was disappointed in the election of 2000.
I was disappointed not only in the way George W. Bush mishandled policy and the public, but in the way that our senate allowed this to happen.  They voted for all of his horrible policies while the economy was collapsing.  Nobody did a thing.

Clinton said she waited until all the damage was done before she went to Wall Street, shook hands with donors, and said, “cut it out” just like that guy from Full House.  This ain’t a fucking sitcom.  Nobody was laughing.  Except for her donors.  And Donald Trump- who saw his investments and reality television show grow during this time.

Over in the corner of my garage I have a sign that reads, “No Iraq War.”

My apologies, but the sun is out slightly today.  Screwed up the bottom right corner.  I didn’t care.  I’m not taking another picture.

That sign is old.  I’m holding on to it.  I had that out years ago before we went to war.  I watched as the media changed their outlook on the issue and told us that hit “had” to happen.  I told my wife those very thoughts.  I saw the shift.

We love war.  It’s an embarrassing part of being a dominant power.  It’s an embarrassing part allowing certain people to run the country.  All peacocks.

I watched the news quite often over the past several months.

I watched as Chris Matthews asked the daily question of whether the world would actually vote for a Socialist in the General Election.  I watched as he condemned the world for considering Sanders a viable candidate.  Somebody should inform Matthews there is a difference.  It’s not the people who made you hide under your desk when you were a child at the height of the Cold War.

I turned the channel every single time Rachel Maddow decided to give Hillary Clinton softball questions as a Democratic forum.  It was really just an hour long advertisement.  Maddow, in all fairness, did need to take breaks from constant coverage of the Flint water crisis.  Not that what happened in Flint isn’t horrible, but Maddow did not need to make it her personal issue.

I guess now is a good time to warn you that this will be a long one.  I haven’t written in a while.  I got spooked.  I’ve a lot on my mind.

We, as a society, tend to get more conservative as we get older.  That’s the nature of our beast.  The beast with a giant brain.  The beast that gets tired with age.

That’s the biggest part.  We get tired.  We get beaten down.  We get exhausted.  We get frustrated.  Nothing works.

So the right has decided to put all hope into a man who hasn’t been conservative all that long and only found religion on politics when a black man became president.  The right has decided the movement they can get behind is a bigot.  Congratulations.  Your true colors are shining through.

The left has decided to play it safe and run with a candidate who won’t move a thing.  She will be similar to her husband and make business deals which help nobody but the wealthy.  See NAFTA.  That crime bill.  See how easily he crossed the aisle for temporary gains.  How the nutrition of America has taken a back burner.

But Clinton received long term gains.  So did Wall Street.  So did the Walton family (Hillary sat on the board of Wal-Mart for several years while her husband was governor of home state Arkansas).  Tell me this isn’t any different that George W. Bush receiving a generous price for the Texas Rangers followed by Bush providing Hicks with some major deregulation for Clear Channel?

People latched on this year as the Socialist Democrat pushed for economic justice.  Arguing that the Middle Class has gone.  Arguing that the 1% is ruining dialogue and culture in America.  But Hillary was the beneficiary of a favorable debate schedule and media that disagreed with internet consensus on a daily basis.  The Southeast states which were favorable to Clinton have all voted and created a deficit Sanders may not be able to overcome.  There’s a momentum.

But this was important to many people.  The issues facing us every single day.  The corrupt system which has been rewarding the richest in our country for way too long.  Are we destined to have a movement every generation which falls flat because the system is rigged for those who have already manipulated it?

Are we forever condemned to see no change unless it benefits those who have purchased our government in exchange for favorable legislation?

I sit here and reminisce about the days when I had so much more energy.

When I had hope for my children.

For myself.

When I was ready to take on anything if it benefited the general population.

I was passionate.

But the system is meant to pull you down into the muck.  It’s meant to make you give up.  It’s meant to allow those who already in control to stay in control.

We are a country of dynasties.  Prove to me we are any better off than any monarchy we would possible make fun of because it’s not democratic.

Prove it.

I want a democracy which actually works for people.  Is it possible?

I worry about how my children will get their feet off the ground making a minimum wage that won’t get them anywhere.  It definitely won’t get them out of my house.

I worry about how uncomfortable it will be to die in my living room because health care has gotten out of hand.

Nobody is really addressing these things, because they don’t care.

The media and the candidates are all selling the same pile of shit.  Ensuring further success for all of those who have helped them get where they are.

So, here it is, Guerilla Radio.  Because people actually cared 20 years ago.

Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?
Yes a spectacle monopolized
They hold the reins, stole your eyes
All the fistagons the bullets and bombs
Who stuff the banks and staff the party ranks?
More for Gore or the son of a drug lord
None of the above fuck it cut the cord
